As a company of the global GEA Group AG, GEA Industrial Heat Exchanger Systems (China) is part of the Heat Exchangers Segment, focus on industrial heat exchangers.

 

In the early 1980's, GEA air cooling technology was introduced into China with license. To meet the increasing demand in high quality coolers in China, our predecessor company, GEA (Wuhu) KHI Machinery Cooling Co., Ltd has been set up in 1995 in the WEDA Development Zone in Wuhu, Anhui Province.

 

Based on the fast growth of the previous years and in order to further expand the business in Asia, GEA invested in 2008 in complete new facilities in the Jiu Jiang Development Zone in Wuhu, Anhui under the new company name: GEA Industrial Heat Exchanger Systems (China) Co., Ltd.

 

The company has been manufacturing and selling cooling systems for refrigeration, power generation and transmission, marine and locomotive diesel engines and other industries and has gained a leading market position in Asia. The technology has been transferred by the European sister companies of GEA IHE Systems:
